Affiliate marketing mostly refers to that e-commerce version of the traditional agent/referral fee sales channel concept. An e-commerce affiliate site is one which links to an e-commerce website such as Ebay®.com. When the visitors of the website click on the affiliate link, they were leaded to the merchants website and if they purchase something the affiliate receives a defined payment (depending upon the electronic commerce site policies), often it is a percentage of the money that the customer spends. Affiliates could also act as publishers. Affiliate marketing was helping the Travel and Hotel Industry to receive a large extent.
